  1. Navigate to Zapier: Click the link on the page to navigate to zapier.com. On the Zapier page, click on "Accept Invite and Build This App".

  1. Creating a Zap: On the Zapier page, click on "Create Zap". Skip the first box and click on "Trigger".

  1. Searching for Instant Uploader: In the search bar, type "InstantUploader" as one word and select the latest trigger.

  1. Selecting Event: On the sidebar, select "Event" and choose "CUD" which stands for Content Create Update Delete. Click on "Continue".

  1. Testing Trigger: Click on "Test Trigger". If the results look good, click on "Continue".

  1. Selecting Action: Select another action. In this case, select "Lead Connector".

  1. Configuring Lead Connector: Click on the connectors and select "Action: Add Lead to Campaign". Click on "Continue".

  1. Signing in to Lead Connector: In your Zapier account, a window will pop up asking for an API key. Find your CRM's API key. In our example, go to your business profile on LeadConnector and copy your API ID. Paste this API key into the Zapier window that was popped up.

  1. Selecting Campaign: Select the campaign where you want to send the leads (Each CRM is different and this step is specific to LeadConnector).

  1. Matching Fields: Match up the fields from InstantUploader to the fields in Lead Connector. In this example, match the full name and email fields.

Find the field names you want to map in your InstantUploader Custom Fields screen.

Search for the field name (such as customer full name) and select it.

Map all fields you'd like imported such as Email in this example.

When done mapping all the fields click the "Continue" button to proceed.

  1. Testing and Naming Zap: Click on "Continue" and test the Zap. If it shows success, name the Zap and turn it on.

Click the "Test step" button.

Make sure you see "Success."

Click the "Publish" button.

Name your Zap

Your Zap is now ready to go.

  1. Activating Trigger: Go back to InstantUploader and navigate to "Triggers". Activate the "Send Lead to Zapier" trigger that will fire upon lead creation. If you don't see such a trigger, then go to the next step.

If you see a "Send Lead to Zapier" trigger, simply activate it. Otherwise create one.

  1. Creating a Trigger: If you haven't already activated the "Send Lead via Zapier" trigger in the previous step, you'll need to create it now. Start by clicking "Add Trigger" to create a new trigger, and name it "Send Lead via Zapier". In the "Which event should trigger this automation" field, select "Content added, updated or deleted". In the "Select automation's filter" field, choose "All", then click "Add Filter". From the Select Filter dropdown, choose "Content type", then select "Lead" from the Select content type dropdown. In the "What actions should we perform" section, click "Add Action" and select "Zapier". For additional assistance, please refer to the triggers guide.

Follow the settings displayed in this screenshot to accurately configure a Zapier trigger that activates upon the creation of a lead.

  1. Creating a Test Lead: Create a content of "Lead" type manually. In this example, a lead named "Robert" with an email is created. You'll need to save the lead by clicking "Next" and then once again on the following screen.

  1. Checking CRM: Go to your CRM and refresh the contacts page. You should see the lead that you just created.

In the same way, any content available within InstantUploader can be sent to any platform.
